As the 5th of 6th children, he developed fluency in American Sign Language due to his deaf brother, showcasing his commitment to effective communication.

Having served a church mission in Peru for two years, Dr. Austin is not only fluent in Spanish but also brings a multicultural perspective to his practice. His compassionate nature extends beyond the professional realm, evident in his marriage to Emma in 2016 and their joyous family of four beautiful children.
